Description
Cepparello was produced for the first time in 1980. In the late seventies Paolo De Marchi conducted extensive experiments on the quality potential of Sangiovese, including a meticulous massal selection of the best Sangiovese vines of the estate. He kept the vinification and ageing of the grapes from these vines separate in the cellar, and thus «Cepparello» was born. lt is o fine wine with a comp x texture that best expresses the territory and Sangiovese. The 2020 harvest wos exceptional thanks to a mild and dryclimate with beneficiai rains at the end al summer.
