1. Download the MetaMask extension

2. Create your account
After installing the extension, you will need to create your account. MetaMask will ask you to set a password to protect your account. This password cannot be recovered in any way so please keep it safe. Make sure you use a strong password and don’t use the same password you use for other online accounts.
3. Add an existing wallet or create a new wallet
Once your account is created, you can choose whether to add an existing wallet or create a new wallet. If you need to import an existing wallet, just enter the CID, i.e. a sequence of 12 Seed Phrases, i.e. keywords to be noted when creating the wallet because they will be used to install it on another device.
If you need to create a new wallet you will have to click on "Create new wallet", choose an access password and save the 12 recovery words. These words are very important because they will allow you to restore your account if your device is lost or stolen. Make sure you write them down and keep them in a safe place.
4. Find your wallet address
Finally, to find your wallet address, click on the 3 dots on the right side of your account and click on "Copy address to clipboard". Now your Wallet is ready to be used!

Guide to connecting a wallet with WalletConnect
1. Open the dApp you want to use on your browser or smartphone and look for the button to connect your wallet. It is usually located at the top right or bottom left of the page.
2. Click on the button and choose WalletConnect as the connection method. A QR code will appear on the dApp screen.
3. Open your wallet and go to the section to scan QR codes. Frame the QR code you see on the dApp screen with your wallet's camera.
4. After scanning the QR code, your wallet will ask you to confirm the connection with the dApp. Click on "Approve" or "Connect" and wait for the dApp to show your address and balance.
5. Now you can interact with the dApp using your wallet as a digital signature for transactions you want to make.
To disconnect your wallet from a dApp, you need to go to your wallet settings and look for the section to manage active connections. From there, you can choose to disconnect your wallet from the dApp you want.
