Description

Located in Castelnuovo dell’Abate, in the heart of the Brunello di Montalcino area, Vigna Loreto is a vineyard facing east. The Sangiovese grapes, a typical variety of Tuscany, develop unique qualities here, thanks to the tuffaceous soil and the favorable climate. The Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Vigna Loreto 2016 by Mastrojanni is the result of an extraordinary harvest, which produced a complex, rich and decisive wine. The wine has a deep and bright ruby red color. The nose reveals enveloping and intense aromas, with hints of ripe red fruit, exotic spices and fresh tobacco. The palate is harmonious and wide, with a mature and powerful tannin, and a silky and elegant finish. This wine is an example of balance between refinement and strength, between elegance and structure, between nobility and power. An incredibly long-lived wine, which reaches its peak after several years from the harvest.
