Description

The Barolo DOCG Unoperuno is one of the newest wines from Elio Altare’s cellar, born in 2010 from an original and bold idea: to hand-destem each single nebbiolo berry, selecting only the best ones and discarding any unwanted element. The goal is to obtain the maximum purity of the fruit and tannin of nebbiolo, without the influence of the stem or other foreign elements. The result is a wine that expresses the best of the characteristics of the different vineyards from which the grapes come, in a harmonious and balanced blend. In the glass it has a light ruby color with garnet reflections. On the nose it offers a fresh and delicate aroma, with notes of red fruits, dried flowers, sweet spices and tobacco. On the palate it is elegant, soft, juicy and harmonious, with fine tannins and a good aromatic persistence.
