Description

The Barolo Bussia Riserva “Etichetta Oro” Vigna Rocche is an excellent red wine, the result of a careful selection of Nebbiolo grapes from the renowned Vigna Rocche, located in the Bussia area of Monforte d’Alba, in the heart of the Langhe. It is a Reserve produced only in the best vintages, which best expresses the character and complexity of Nebbiolo, thanks to long aging in wood and bottle. The wine matures in small oak barrels for at least 18 months and then rests in the bottle at a controlled temperature of 15°C for at least 5 years. The result is a Barolo of great structure and finesse, with a ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose it opens with an intense and enveloping bouquet, reminiscent of withered rose, chocolate, tobacco and black truffle. On the palate it is velvety and harmonious, with a fruity sweetness balanced by fresh acidity and elegant tannins. The finish is silky, powerful and persistent, with spicy and truffle notes.
